SABI AGRI RAISES €8 MILLION IN SERIES. A FINANCING TO BECOME THE LEADER OF AGROECOLOGICAL ROBOTIC.

SAINT-BEAUZIRE, September 2022 – SABI AGRI, a pioneer in agroecological electric equipment, announced a Series A financing round of €8 million from its historical investors Ui Investissement and Crédit Agricole Centre France and has welcomed a new partner, Cita Investissement.

This round of financing will enable the family business to continue deploying its ambitious strategy.

SABI AGRI recorded a significant growth, doubling its turnover every year. The demand for versatile and environmentally friendly electric agricultural equipment is very strong.

This fundraising is part of SABI AGRI’s development strategy by transforming its electric tractors into autonomous tractors.

“Agricultural robotics is a lever capable of providing virtuous solutions. With more than 15,000 hours of field feedback, we are ready to deploy the next generation of versatile and collaborative robots to facilitate the implementation of sustainable, profitable and respectful agriculture.”

Laure Prévault Osmani, Managing Director and co-founder of SABI AGRI

8 million to strengthen a disruptive positioning

In the fast-growing AgTech market, SABI AGRI is the pioneer of a unique and patented mechatronic architecture that enables the rethinking of the concept of agricultural equipment. Having made electricity a design asset, its electric tractors are natively robotizable. They combine all the advantages of current agricultural equipment – versatility, power and autonomy – with those of the new ones – economical and environmentally friendly.

SABI AGRI’s vision and project is supported by the European Commission through the EIC Accelerator program, of which it is an award winner.

“Turning our electric tractors into robots is just a matter of replacing the driver with an algorithm. Everything in our machines allows this transition. With these new financial resources, we have everything we need to take it to the next level and put our first autonomous robots on the market this season!”

Alexandre Prévault Osmani, President and Co-founder of SABI AGRI
